Improving Migration Data in the Context of the 2030 Agenda: Recommendations

Developed by the Independent Expert Advisory Group, this guidance is a list of recommendations on how best to collect quality, timely and fit-for-purpose migration data and statistics in order to report on and track progress towards the SDG indicators.

The findings recommend that the 24 global SDG indicators can be disaggregated by migration status and/or migrant’s living conditions, though governments using global indicators may find they can disaggregate more than that.
