The Department of International Development (ODID) invites applications for a full time, three-year fixed term appointment to a Departmental Lecturership to start in January 2012 or as soon as possible thereafter. The appointment will be associated with the International Migration Institute, a leading research group within the department.
The postholder will be responsible for teaching on the MSc (Migration Studies) degree, in particular the methodology paper, the core courses (shared with others), and on a topic of specialist knowledge. The postholder will also engage in syllabus development, supervise short theses and act as an examiner. The MSc (Migration Studies) is taught on a joint course with the School of Anthropology particularly the Centre on Migration and Society (COMPAS).
