UN-Habitat has launched a consultancy position for the planning and development of background paper, case study and project document for a joint initiative between UN-Habitat and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) in Morocco on “Diaspora Investments Towards more Inclusive and Sustainable Neighbourhoods in Morocco”. The incumbent is also expected to identify a pilot intervention and approach to sustainable neighbourhoods, both in case of planned city extensions and urban upgrading initiatives in metropolitan areas as well as other cities taking into consideration aspects of “green neighbourhoods” planning, financing, implementation and management. The overall assignment is expected to take 44 work days over the period of 3 months.
