Une excellente manière d’établir un réseau et d'améliorer ses connaissances sur M&D est de participer aux évènements de M&D. Dans cette section, l'ICMD a regroupé tous les évènements en lien avec M&D qui se passent à l'échelle mondiale afin que la Communauté M4D soit informée des évènements, y compris ceux de l'ICMD.

Georgetown University is offering a certificate programme course on "Refugees and Displaced Persons" for the upcoming Spring term.

As described in the course description, it "focuses on international and domestic law, legal cases and policies designed to protect and assist people who have been forced to flee... The course explores such issues as the nexus between forced and voluntary migration, the transition from relief to development, and the intersection between refugee protection and security issues."

This webinar will explore the shift towards humanitarian cash programming - the use of cash to help vulnerable people meet their needs. 

It will touch upon questions such as how cash-based approaches can meet food security needs in urban crises, whether cash is different in an urban context and will evaluate the challenges and lessons learned.

Working closely with the Civil Society International Steering Committee (ISC), the GFMD Civil Society Coordinating Office of ICMC’s MADE is organizing the Civil Society Days of the GFMD, and also the GFMD Common Space, together with Bangladesh, the government 2016 GFMD Chair. The Civil Society Days will take place in Dhaka 8- 9 December, and Common Space on the 10th.

Speakers will present data comparing the income, poverty, employment status, health insurance coverage, English proficiency, and education levels of U.S.
