Une excellente manière d’établir un réseau et d'améliorer ses connaissances sur M&D est de participer aux évènements de M&D. Dans cette section, l'ICMD a regroupé tous les évènements en lien avec M&D qui se passent à l'échelle mondiale afin que la Communauté M4D soit informée des évènements, y compris ceux de l'ICMD.

The conference “Europe and its immigrants in the 21th century” will be held on May 11-12, 2017 in Zagreb, Croatia. The objective of this conference is to share best practices, ideas, and recommendations for solving immigration-related issues in Europe. Some of the themes that will be discussed include: a) managing international migration better: principles and perspectives for gaining more from migration; b) the challenge of integration in Europe; c) migrants and the European labour market; and d) migrants and immigration policy in Europe.

Resilient Cities 2017, a global platform for #urban #resilience, will be holding the 8th Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation from May 4-6, 2017 in Bonn, Germany. This forum will analyses current issues of urban resilience, as they relate to internal displacement and forced migration.

In the West Bank, the situation of Palestine refugees is increasingly precarious as they continue to face a number of protection threats, from movement and access restrictions, to violence, demolitions and forced displacement. UNRWA will be hosting a conference entitled “Palestine Refugees in the West bank – A protection crisis with humanitarian consequences” on the 16th of March 2017 from 12:30-14:00 at the External Cooperation InfoPoint – Brussels.

The Wilson Center's Urban and Sustainability Laboratory will be holding an event entitled "New Urban Perspectives: Climate Change, Refugees, and Planning" on March 6, 2017 in Washington, D.C. In light of the adopted New Urban Agenda and in order to strengthen the ties between policymaking and academic thought, this event will provide a place to discuss the latest research on inclusive and innovative urban planning to accommodate refugees, along with other related topics.

The European Migration Forum’s 3rd meeting is set to take place on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2017 at the European Economic And Social Committee in Brussels, Belgium. This meeting will discuss migrants' access to the EU as well as access to their rights and to services after entering the EU.

The United Nations Headquarters in New York will be hosting the upcoming 15th Coordination Meeting on International Migration on the 16th & 17th of February 2017. This event is organized by the UN’s Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The meeting is set to provide further support for governments and stakeholders revolving around international migration and development issues in response to the GA’s 56/203 resolution.
