Brief description of the initiative
The project will facilitate the implementation of business plans which have been created upon the participants' own initiatives. During the project they are provided with individual advice on the businesses they will start up in their countries of origin. The business plan is created and developed in the Region of Murcia (Spain): the initiators will then indicate some relative or partner for the implementation of the project in their respective countries of origin. The technical support on remittances delivery will be provided by the project.
Results and lessons learned
Participants are the real leaders of all the process. Through these initiatives we are investing in the development of the migrants' home region. To date the main project achievement are: 15 Seminars on business creation; 301 immigrant’s participants; 265 business projects; 36 companies created in Murcia 18 companies created in the countries ot origin (Ecuador, Peru, Colombia) 75 companies in hand in Murcia 28 companies in hand in the countries ot origin (Ecuador, Peru, Colombia) In all localities the business creation seminars have been appreciated very much; even if it is difficult for entrepreneurs to establish a business in Latin America countries, the project is slowly but surely achieving its objectives.

Key success or innovative factors
The most important factor of the project is the initiative of immigrants and the seminars methodology based on few theoretical lessons and a lot of personalized advices on business creation. Also it is important that the immigrants want take part and involve themselves not under pressure from institutions. When people with business initiative join the projects voluntarily, the business initiative are more effective. The project can continue being developed in the future because it collects the immigrants’ plans in the destination countries and transfers them to the origin countries. The key factors of the project are: the human factor, the human capital, the immigrants' leadership, immigrants' initiatives and good advisers with sensitivity for support their business ideas. The project is easily transferable to other place; the essential elements are: immigrant's initiatives in the destination country and implementation support in the origin country.

Main objectives
Overall goal: To promote the involvement of immigrants in the productive and social development of their countries, from the origin communities, through the direct or indirect implementation of productive activities. Specific Objectives: To implement new businesses in the origin countries by the immigrants in Murcia (Spain), directly returning to their country and/or allocating part of the remittances to develop businesses with other local partners. In this way a migratory model of voluntary return is implemented through the orientation of remittances and/or human resources to productive projects with links between origin and destination societies.

15 Seminars of business creation with personal advices carried out in following localities of the Murcia Region: Caravaca, Cartagena, Cieza, Fuente-Alamo, Lorca, Murcia (3), Puerto Lumbreras, Torre Pacheco and Totana (2). 301 immigrants trained and advised on business creation and productive use of remittances. The project develops business skills in the Region of Murcia for implementing business in Latin American countries, moreover gives advices on remittances and creates a network with the persons trained in business skills in Latin American and in the Region of Murcia. On the other hand, the project is implemented in Latin America countries training new businessmen who are relatives or partners of immigrants in Spain. The project provided: 1) Articulation of an enterprises network and business links between the origin countries and Murcia. 2) Programme on creating businesses: (i) support to design of business plans; (ii) monitoring and individual supervision of each project during first 12 months; (iii) accompaniment and technical assistance for achieving financial tools; and (iv) chanelling of remittances, or of part of them, to the productive investment in the origin countries in business projects with links between origin and destination societies. In relation to the chanelling of remittances, the project aims to to: a. turn the remittance into a tool of automatic generation of credit for whom sends it and for whom receives it, acting the executor organizations like "verifiers" of its destination to productive purposes; b. develop financial products in accordance with the project's characteristics (“documentary” microcredit), so the immigrant obtains a microcredit in Spain with the purpose that some close person implements an investment project in origin.
