E-discussion Domestic Workers Count Too: Visibilising and Protecting Women Migrant Domestic Workers through Legal and Social Protections
In collaboration with UN Women in New York and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the EC-UN Joint Migration and Development Initiative (JMDI) held an e-discussion on “Domestic Workers Count Too: Visibilising and Protecting Women Migrant Domestic Workers through Legal and Social Protections”. This discussion was launched on 8 March 2011 to celebrate International Women’s Day and ran until the 30th of May. It resulted in a total of 31 valuable contributions from a variety of organisations and individuals.
