Arthur Beauté is a consultant for the IOM. He was previously doing an internship in order to complete his master degree in Advanced European & International Studies at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Lille (Sciences Po Lille). Throughout his study, he specialized in conflicts and development, with a special focus on migration and environmental issues. He wrote his master thesis on Indigenous Peoples’ Positioning Strategies in International Climate Negotiations.
Apart from his studies, he has been involved in several non-profit activities. He co-founded and co-headed Rendez-Vous Ailleurs, a non-profit promoting cultural diversity and supporting development initiatives with an intercultural lens.
As an intern in IOM, he was supporting the IOM-UNDP Global Joint Programme on Mainstreaming Migration into National Development Strategies. He was also assisting on various domains the Migration, Environment and Climate Change division, essentially through research. Now, besides supporting the M4D Net, he works on IOM's activities on M&D and its involvment in achieving the SDGs.
