Join IOM's Labour Mobility and Human Development Division (LHD) to further our understanding of the humanitarian, development, and peace nexus (HDPN) and migration. Apply by 1 October 2020.
Recognizing that addressing the adverse structural factors that drive migration and displacement is as pressing as immediate humanitarian support, IOM seeks to hire a consultant to deepen the understanding on drivers for migration and displacement by mapping and analysing these issues in both humanitarian and development contexts and identifying ways to enhance IOM overall operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a comprehensive analysis of the existing approaches to address drivers of migration and displacement along the HDPN, including a review of their application in two country contexts, as well as recommendations on how to enhance IOM’s work on this issue.
