IOM's Regional Office in Brussels is hiring! Theyare looking for a Project Assistant to work on an EU-funded project aiming to strengthen how migration is integrated into international development. The position would be well suited to a graduate with around two years of work experience in the area of migration studies, international development, law, or international relations. It is based in IOM's Regional Office in Brussels. It would be ideal for someone who is interested in gaining experience in a dynamic and growing UN organisation and working in the field of migration and development.
The European Union has awarded the “Guidelines on Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development Policy” project to IOM with the aim of contributing to effective mainstreaming of migration into international cooperation and development. The project will produce and pilot guidelines for the use of the EU, other donors and partner countries from the perspective of mainstreaming migration into development aid and donor cooperation and coordination. Accompanying capacity building measures are foreseen in up to three pilot countries targeted by EU development aid.
