The IOM Country Office in Brussels, Belgium is recruiting an Intern for the Project Development Unit. Some of the expected tasks include: supporting the Project Development Coordinator develop new projects and liaising with the Belgian government and other stakeholders, and researching and analysing the Belgian government’s institutional frameworks, policies and funding opportunities. The desired applicant should hold a University degree in a related field of study and be fluent in English (both oral and written). The internship is 6 months, with the possibility of an extension.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is hiring a Migration Mainstreaming Consultant. Within the framework of a project funded by the European Union, entitled ‘Guidelines on Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development Policy’, the Consultant will work on Activity 1.1 and “assess the existing EU and other donor approaches to mainstreaming migration into international development and dialogue with partner countries, and identify the most relevant development sectors.”

The IOM is looking for an Associate Migration Officer in New York under the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparations and negotiations on the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration, to be considered for adoption at the intergovernmental conference on international migration in 2018.
